Leadership And Management Development Training Programme Delivering Measurable Results

The ‘in-company’, or ‘in-house’, option is sometimes preferred by organisations with a larger number of delegates, who have restrictions on timing or the logistics of gathering everyone together, and where team building is seen as a valuable additional benefit.

Our focus is on producing measurable improvements for your business against pre-determined objectives, rather than just delivering a “training course”.  The care we take over the preparation of your programme is what differentiates us from other training providers.

Step 1: Understand Needs
To make sure we understand your needs and your expectations, we provide a no cost, no obligation consultancy meeting at your premises. We see this as a vital part of our offering, as it helps us to understand the context in which the training is taking place and to agree the pre-determined objectives which give us all the benchmarks of success.

Step 2: Prepare Recommendations
We then prepare written recommendations based on five criteria: -

Dependent on the above criteria and your agreement to proceed, the following steps are undertaken:

Step 3: Prepare Delegates and Their Managers
Assuming you are happy with our proposal, the next step is preparing both the delegates and their manager(s).

Delegates need to understand why the training programme is important and why they have been recommended for the coaching. In particular, they need to identify which areas they may need/want to work on.  Their “buy in” to the training is fundamental to their success.

Managers of delegates also need to understand their crucial role in supporting their delegates during the training process as they may not appreciate how they can either enhance or limit the benefits gained. Equally, we need to understand their expectations as stakeholders in the process.

Meetings with delegates and managers can be organised on a 1:1 basis or in group meetings if larger numbers are involved. If logistically difficult to do otherwise, we can prepare letters of introduction.

Step 4: Commence Training
The training process can then take place with everyone fully prepared and focused on the desired outcomes.

While traditional courses provide concentrated theory over 2-3 days, Auricas uses the "little and often" approach, structuring the five ½ day sessions on the basis of one morning per week or one session every two weeks. We can stretch to 1 day per month over three months if people are travelling a long way to attend.

Step 5: Follow Up
On completion of training, we collate feedback from delegates and produce a report to discuss with you which includes our own observations and suggestions for continuing improvement.
