Exhibitions can last from one day to one week and involve a significant amount time, effort, money and manpower. Clearly, there is a need to generate business from the exhibition to make it worthwhile.
However, research has shown that many people who represent their companies at this type of event are ill prepared with no real purpose, strategy or technique; co-ordinated follow up is also poor. Company representatives can feel uncomfortable on stands and keep a low profile for fear of being rejected; alternatively, they can be so assertive that people are put off approaching! This can result in few real sales leads created of the right calibre and little return on investment.
The Workshop is therefore designed to involve all those who will be on the exhibition stand in a process of coaching that will help to increase understanding, confidence, skills and improve the outcome i.e. a measurable return.
