This coaching is designed to help you influence more people to your way of thinking in commercial situations where you are negotiating or overcoming an objection of some description. It’s important because the margin between winning or losing business (even a customer) and the margin between a reasonable profit or a loss is getting smaller.
We take a practical approach; rather than try and turn delegates into “world experts”, we aim to make the tips and techniques as easy to remember and apply as possible to give you an edge. The fact that your team will have been through this coaching will automatically put you ahead of the game as most people you are likely to meet have not received formal training in the subject and are still relying on gut feel.
We focus on two aspects: the person – building and maintaining relationships whatever the outcome and the “problem” – dealing with any barriers to agreement (deliberate or otherwise). The end result is a greater feeling of confidence and a greater sense of control through knowing what to do and how to respond. We ask delegates to bring to the coaching their own “real life” examples so we can discuss specific situations not just talk about the theory.
